Rustic River Resort is a unique Alberta campground that welcomes everyone! Just a 1.5 hour drive from both Calgary and Edmonton, Rustic River sits on the bank of the North Saskatchewan River which claims the title of the 4th largest river in Alberta. It’s this location that makes our campground so special. With plenty of activities and every convenience within the campground, there’s lots to do and see for all ages.
Our Alberta campground has all the necessities you need from our general store filled with all the essentials, a fuel and propane stop, a liquor store with finest wine, spirits and beer, as well as our Rustic Lounge. The Rustic Lounge is a covered outdoor area with a kitchen, fire pit and televisions. Had a long day in the sun? Join us at the Rustic Lounge for beer and BBQ! Every Saturday at 7 p.m. our staff serves delicious barbeque, including hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs and wings, so after a day of sunshine you can kick back by the fire, relax and enjoy the company of friends, family and fellow campers.
An Alberta Campground By The Water
Being so close to a large river gives the campground a ton of variety in activities, which means it’s important to come prepared to splash around. We encourage our campers to bring their boats, toys, and floaties so they can enjoy the beautiful river! We even have a boat launch, so if you’re looking for a place to get that jet boat out, Rustic River has you covered.
